BLACK SWAN: Traditional poster
This traditional film poster I've created for the film 'Black Swan', establishes horror/thriller genre. I have chosen the main character 'Nina' to be center of the poster to grab the audiences attention. I have chosen a black and white colour scheme to help reflect horror conventions of dark and dull colours. I chose the title to be big and white so it stands out, the delicate italic font links to the ballet side of the film. I included the top actors and critic reviews of the film, this will help grab the audiences attention, and draw them to watch the film.
The Black Swan: Minimalist Poster
To gain my minimalist poster below thought of the key ideas in the film. I decided to include a ballerina filling in black, to reflect the idea of the ballerina turning dark/into the black swan. I included swan wings either side of the title, which is effect as it draws attention to the title, and relates key aspects of the film (the black swan). The white background is effective as it helps the title etc stand out, and also relates to the idea of the white swan.
